A Clean and Happy Dog!

Hi Pet Parents and animal lovers!  This is a picture of Zeus - very clean and happy.  And this is why!  This time I washed him with something very different - DERMagic's Shampoo Bar with Peppermint and Tea Tree Oil.   I was skeptical because I have never used a shampoo bar on Zeus, and two......does this stuff really lather and get the dog clean?  OH WOW!!!!!  This shampoo bar was beyond fantastic!!!  It lathered up really nicely, it was very easy to clean off (no residue) and he smelled great.  I also found that it is much easier to wash a dog with a shampoo bar rather than liquid shampoo.  You have more control over the bar and can get the belly area more easily than with liquid shampoo.  And.....the shampoo bar is more economical.  I have used, at times, 1/4 of a bottle of liquid shampoo to wash Zeus (40lbs).  This bar will last a lot longer.

Petey is very cute - just look at that picture!  You'd never believe how rough he is with his toys.  I normally know where Petey has been by following the pieces of dog toys on the floor.  Can you believe a little dog this innocent could be that rough?  Check out the pics above.   I think Petey just met his match!!! I tried a new toy from West Paw Design called Mingo.  It is an unstuffed plush toy, you can see here:  Mingo .    (On that same page click "Listen" to hear my review of that toy. )  I have also tried other West Paw Design dog and cat toys.  They are very durable.   Hey - if Mingo can last with Petey (and with Petey and Piggy playing tug of war) it is one very durable toy!

Here are pictures of one of the more unusual furr babies I saw at the Expo - Faith the two legged dog.   Faith was born without her front legs and has well adapted to walking on just two legs.   It is truly amazing to watch her walk!

The Expo is crazy busy! Started off the show at a press conference where I interviewed the Dog Whisperer himself, Cesar Millan!  He has a lot of wonderful new products available for all of our furry canine friends.  We have yesterday's many live interviews posted on the Pet Life Radio li\ve for a short time.  Stay tuned for more info!

Global Pet Expo
